Is your event family-friendly?

Yes! The main portion of the faire being held at the park will be a family-friendly event. The patio across the river will be 21+ and is not family-friendly.

Will there be bathrooms?

There will be portable toilets, please see the map for locations. The theater across the river has full indoor and accessible bathrooms.

Where can I park?

Parking will be available in public parking lots at 315 and 333 Main Street, Wakefield, RI. You can also park at South Kingstown High School at 215 Columbia St, Wakefield, RI or at Peace Dale Elementary School at 109 Kersey Rd, Wakefield, RI. We will have a free shuttle to and from the lots at South Kingstown High School and Peace Dale Elementary School to make your day easier!

Where are the entrances to the Faire? Can I buy tickets at the entrance?

There will be three entrances - the main entrance on High Street, an entrance when you cross the pedestrian bridge across the Saugatucket River into Saugatucket Park, and an entrance at the Hound Stage on the CTC Patio. Yes, you can buy your tickets at any entrance to the Faire!

What is your policy on outside food and drink?

We encourage you to eat with our vendors, but we understand that isn’t easy for everyone, so we do allow you to bring your own food and drink. Glass bottles are discouraged for safety. Outside alcohol is not permitted. Please clean up after yourself.

What is your refund policy?

Tickets are not transferrable.

What is your handicapped accessibility?

The majority of the faire is held on a grassy field. Some performances and activities will take place at our fully accessible theater over a footbridge across the river.

What is your drug and alcohol policy?

Alcohol is only permitted on our riverside patio. No recreational drugs or outside alcohol is permitted.

What is your smoking/vaping policy?

Smoking/vaping will only be allowed in designated areas.

Do you allow same day re-entry?

Absolutely! Just make sure you get your hand stamped!

What is your photography policy?

General photography is permitted throughout the faire. Staff and performers do reserve the right to ask any attendee to stop taking photo or video at any point. As a general courtesy, please ask folks before taking their picture. Commercial photography is only allowed with the permission of the event organizers. As a condition of entering the Ocean State Renaissance Faire, you grant permission for OSRF to photograph you or use your image on social media. 

Can I bring my pet?

Friendly, well behaved pets are welcome. You must provide proof of necessary vaccinations, and all animals must be leashed and under control at all times. Attendees are expected to clean up after their pets. 

What happens if it rains?

Our event is rain or shine!

Where can I cool off?

The Hutch is inside and air-conditioned, so stop by to watch the D&D Live Show and enjoy the AC! The CTC Tavern is air-conditioned as well, and the Arts & Crafts in Sari’s Sanctuary is in the shade.

What is your lost children policy?

Children should be attended at all times. Missing or lost children and parents should check in the first aid/information tent.
