Revels on the River (18+)

Revels on the River is our 18+ kickoff event on the CTC’s riverfront patio. Enjoy exclusive performances from Kody Magic, Quartermaster’s Council, The Foxy Bard and Twig, Sisters Pendragon, and after-dark fire spinning by Opal Raven Cirque. Our tavern will feature flights of mead from Arcane Mead and Winery and food from Birch & Bay. Peruse select vendors, including henna and tarot. You deserve a night of revelry, so come indulge with us!
Court Championship Longsword Tournament
Time(s): Sat & Sun, 4 pm
Join us at the end of both Faire days for the Ocean State Ren Faire Court Championship Longsword Tournaments! Black Cat Historical Fencing will host skilled longsword fencers from across New England to fight for the honor of representing their Court and the glory of being named the Grand Champion! Come watch exciting matches between real practitioners of Historical European Martial Arts, each representing one of the four courts of the Faire.
Live D&D

Adventure (and air conditioning) abound with our Live Dungeons & Dragons! Travel with these heroes as they band together for the good of all!
On Saturday from 1 pm - 3 pm, we head to Le Grand Bizarre - a magical carnival full of wonder, prizes to be won, secret treasures to be found, and potential danger hidden behind its happy exterior. Return at the end of the Faire at 6 pm for our special After-Hours D&D, which will continue the story to its climactic conclusion!
On Sunday from 1 pm - 3 pm, our adventurers find themselves in a Weird City cut off from the rest of reality where a Whale of impossible size is waiting just offshore. Its recent appearance has driven the hopeful, the desperate, and the curious to seek out the fabled temple of treasures and secrets within.

Step forth and test thy rhyming prowess in a contest of clever verse and quick tongues!
Face off in good humor with thy finest couplets, quips, and rhymed retorts. Impress the crowd and our judges alike, and thou may walk away with a most worthy prize — and eternal glory (or at least a hearty cheer)!

On Sunday only, noble companions from Save One Soul Animal Rescue shall grace our grounds in search of forever homes fit for heroes!
Whether thou art a valiant knight, a merry minstrel, or a gentle squire, come meet these loyal hounds and see if thy heart be matched with a faithful friend. For what is a quest without a trusty companion by thy side?
