Code of Conduct

At the Ocean State Renaissance Faire, as a facet of the Contemporary Theater Company, we build the culture of our local, global, and artistic communities as we want them to be: Inclusive, Supportive, Ambitious, Playful, and Kind. We do this when people of all backgrounds and experience levels create and share in artistic excellence in ways that cultivate connection, emphasize truthfulness, and inspire growth.

At OSRF and the CTC, we strive to create a community that is inclusive, welcoming, supportive, and safe. We are committed to providing a harassment-free environment and experience for all our staff, performers, vendors, and attendees. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to ask anyone violating these rules to leave the event. Fighting of any kind is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate expulsion from the event.

If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it to event staff as soon as possible. All staff affiliated with the event will be identifiable as such by either a staff affiliate emblem or t-shirt. Anyone not wearing an official OSRF emblem or t-shirt is not affiliated with OSRF or the CTC.

Any performance or stage combat not sanctioned by OSRF and the CTC will be asked to stop. If you continue, you will be asked to leave.
