Within this tent of trials and tabletop triumphs, thou shalt find a trove of favorite board games, from cunning conquests to friendly feuds. For those of an adventurous spirit, test thy mettle at Gwent, the famed card game from the world of The Witcher!

Come, roll the dice, draw thy cards, and match wits with fellow Fairegoers!

Seek shade and summon your creativity in Sari’s Sanctuary, where artisans and aspiring makers gather for a bounty of hands-on enchantment! Join our guided workshops, where thou may:

  • Create a whimsical puppet (perfect for the Puppet Parade)

  • Try thy hand at calligraphy, fit for scroll or squire

  • Brew fantastical potions

Or enjoy our open crafting space, where all may fashion a shield of one’s own, a princess hat, a pirate flag, and other festive finery. There’s merriment to be had for crafters of all levels—from the greenest novice to the most seasoned maker of marvels.

Some workshops shall have limited space, so do check back nearer the Faire for details on how to reserve thy place.

Do you possess the steady hand of a knight or the daring aim of a rogue? Step up to Kingdom Axe’s custom throwing trailer and put your skills to the test!

This noble challenge is fit for all folk ages 12 and up (young squires must be accompanied by an adult). Worry not if thou hast ne’er thrown an axe—our “axe-perts” shall guide thee in the art of safe and true throwing - beginners are welcome!

Axe throwing is a most merry equalizer—those of all different fitness and athletic ability have a fair chance to land a mighty bullseye!

Black Cat Historical Fencing

Witness the ancient art of swordplay brought to life by the skilled fighters of Black Cat Historical Fencing (BCHF), a noble fellowship based in Warren, Rhode Island.

Founded in the year 2023, this educational nonprofit is devoted to the study and preservation of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA). Their members gather weekly for training and sparring, and they occasionally open their doors to the public with introductory classes for those bold enough to take up the blade.

Whether thou art a seasoned swordsman or a curious onlooker, come learn of the discipline, history, and honor behind the sword.

Step into the living tapestry of history with the Society for Creative Anachronism. The Society for Creative Anachronism, or SCA, is an international organization devoted to the research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat, culture, and employing knowledge of history to enrich the lives of participants through events, demonstrations, and other educational presentations and activities. The East Kingdom covers eastern Pennsylvania, eastern New York, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland.
