Craft with us in the shade at Sari's Sanctuary on the bank of the river! Materials will be provided for the following crafts, though you are welcome to bring your own materials and create a project of your own!

  • Shield Painting - Create your own heraldry, or represent your chosen OSRF house with a hand-painted shield!

  • Pirate Flags - Every pirate needs a flag! Choose a base color and cut out your pirate's symbols (skull and crossbones! Twin swords! Black cat!), and make your captain proud!

  • Coloring Pages - Color a masterpiece from a local artisan!

  • Make a Critter - Faires are fun with friends -- the more friends the better! Make a new little creature friend to enjoy the Faire with!

  • Crowns - Royal crowns! Flower crowns! Fairy crowns! Mermaid crowns! Pirate crowns?

  • Wands - The final magical touch for any costume.

Black Cat Historical Fencing Demos & Workshop

Witness the ancient art of swordplay brought to life by the skilled fighters of Black Cat Historical Fencing (BCHF), a noble fellowship based in Warren, Rhode Island. Founded in the year 2023, this educational nonprofit is devoted to the study and preservation of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA).

Whether thou art a seasoned swordsman or a curious onlooker, come learn of the discipline, history, and honor behind the sword.

  • 12:30 pm - 1 pm - Demonstration

  • 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm - Introductory Workshop - Come join in the fun!

  • 4 pm - 5 pm - Black Cat Tournament (Open to spectators, but not participants)
